Château Lafite is one of the 3 Château of the Pauillac appellation ranked 1st Growth.
The estate covers 107 hectares and produces an average of 35,000 cases per year of which between 15,000 and 25,000 are first growth. Around a third of the wine is released as a second wine under the label Carruades de Lafite.

On Friday 25 October 2019 a few private customers of Wine Gallery had the pleasure of visiting this legendary estate and have lunch at the Chateau.

Château Duahart Milon 2011, Château l'Evangile 2004, Château Lafite 1990 and Château Rieussec 2007 were served at lunch.
