Brand story

Domaines Ott⋆ Clos Mireille Rosé

Acquired by the Ott family in 1936, Clos Mireille lies on the coast at La Londe, where 56 hectares of vines sit within a 174-hectare classified nature reserve facing the Mediterranean. The soils are schist and quartz, free of limestone and marked by salinity, and the vineyard lives under sea spray, dry hillside air and abundant Provençal sunshine — a setting that gives the wine an elegance found nowhere else in the range.

Grenache and Cinsault form the foundation of the blend, with Syrah and Rolle added according to the vintage to draw out the full potential of the terroir. The wine shows a golden sandy robe with coppery highlights, an intense freshness on the palate, crisp fruit and zest lifted over a mineral core, and a finish that is subtly spicy, saline and long. As cellar master Estelle Mazoire puts it, this is a particularly luscious rosé — a coastal wine of tension, light and character.
