Dominus Estate
Dominus Estate is one of Napa Valley’s most prestigious wine estates. It was founded by Christian Moueix, the renowned Bordeaux winemaker associated with Château Pétrus. The estate occupies the historic Napanook Vineyard, where some of Napa Valley’s earliest vines were planted. Dominus produces Bordeaux-inspired red wines distinguished by purity, polished tannins, complexity and exceptional ageing potential. The vineyard is also dry-farmed and certified organic.
Eisele Vineyard
First planted during the 1880s, Eisele Vineyard is one of Napa Valley’s most historically significant vineyards. Cabernet Sauvignon was introduced to the property in 1964, and today approximately three quarters of the 38-acre vineyard is devoted to Cabernet Sauvignon and related Bordeaux varieties. Its flagship wine is known for concentrated cassis and blackberry flavours, refined texture, mineral character and remarkable longevity. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 1998.
Jonata
JONATA is an estate winery dedicated to expressing the distinctive terroir of Ballard Canyon in Santa Barbara County. Unlike wineries specialising in only one grape, JONATA produces a diverse portfolio of Bordeaux, Rhône and Italian varieties. Its wines are generally concentrated and structured while maintaining freshness, mineral character and varietal identity. The estate vineyard received organic certification in 2022.
The Hilt Estate
The Hilt Estate is located in the cool, western part of the Sta. Rita Hills, where strong winds, ocean fog and steep slopes create demanding growing conditions. The estate comprises three vineyards: Bentrock, Radian and Puerta del Mar. Its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines are recognised for precision, vibrant acidity, minerality and a clear expression of their cool-climate origin.
Peter Michael Winery
Established in 1982, Peter Michael Winery specialises in limited-production, single-vineyard wines. Its estates extend across Knights Valley, Fort Ross-Seaview and Oakville, allowing the winery to produce both cool-climate and Bordeaux-style wines. Its winemaking philosophy combines classical European techniques with California fruit, resulting in elegant, concentrated and age-worthy wines that reflect the character of each vineyard.
Ridge Vineyards
Founded in 1962, Ridge Vineyards is one of California’s most influential producers. Its historic Monte Bello property was first planted in the nineteenth century and is now the source of the winery’s celebrated Bordeaux-style Monte Bello wine. Ridge is also famous for field-blend Zinfandel wines from old vines. The winery follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, producing structured, terroir-driven wines known for balance, complexity and long ageing potential.
Silver Oak
Silver Oak was established with a highly focused vision: to produce Cabernet Sauvignon aged exclusively in American oak. For more than five decades, it has remained devoted to this single grape variety. Its wines are recognised for ripe dark fruit, vanilla, cedar and spice characteristics, together with a smooth texture and approachable structure. Silver Oak produces separate expressions from Napa Valley and Alexander Valley.
Ulysses
Ulysses is a historic Oakville vineyard acquired by Christian Moueix in 2008. The property was replanted to enhance the expression of its gravelly and clay-rich soils. Unlike a winery with an extensive portfolio, Ulysses focuses on one estate-grown Bordeaux-style red wine. It typically displays concentrated red and dark fruit, savoury herbs, mineral notes, finely textured tannins and excellent ageing potential.
Outpost Wines
Outpost is a high-elevation estate situated approximately 1,800–2,200 feet above the Napa Valley floor. Its vineyards lie above the fog line and contain well-drained volcanic soils, producing deeply coloured and concentrated mountain wines. Outpost is particularly recognised for powerful Cabernet Sauvignon and distinctive Zinfandel, characterised by dark fruit, spice, bright acidity, firm tannins and a strong mineral quality.
